Description
A pair that tells a true story. Expertly crafted with supple leather and delicate hand-beading on the toes, these moccasins from our special collaboration with Minnetonka feature a vibrant floral design by Lucie Skjefte – a Minneapolis-based designer, mentor, educator, and citizen of the Red Lake Nation Anishinaabeg whose work is rooted in activism that challenges the status quo with positivity.
**Features:** Slip-on style, soft suede uppers, hand-beaded floral detail, fuzzy-lined interior, suede tie detail, padded insole, lightweight rubber outsole
**Why We <3 It:** Lucie is driven by creating space and design with an Indigenous lens. Her design for this shoe features a Ziigwan Waabigwan (pronounced: Zeeg-one Waah-big-one), which translates to "Spring Flower" in Ojibwemowin, the language of the Anishinaabe people. This tulip-style flower is commonly found in woodland floral design. For every pair purchased, a product lifetime royalty will also be paid directly to Lucie for her original design.
